Community Bulletin Board Art Project
I created the "Community Bulletin Board Art Project" during my 7-month farm apprenticeship at Phillies Bridge Farm Project in New Paltz, NY, a community engagement initiative during the last month of the CSA vegetable pick-ups.
The piece focused on fostering community needs and conversations as I identified the underutilized bulletin board as the ideal canvas for this endeavor, revitalizing a forgotten space into a vibrant hub for communal expression. This interactive artwork empowered CSA shareholders to actively participate in shaping the farm's narrative, with thoughtfully designed visuals to guide participants through engaging experiences and reigniting meaningful dialogue.
